Welcome to the Anger Group Release sessions, a supportive and empowering environment where you can safely explore and release your anger.
Anger is one of the most suppressed emotions in our society, especially for women. We were not taught how to deal with anger, instead we learnt to suppress it and be the "good girl/boy". Yet anger is essential for our emotional, physical & mental health, if we know how to deal with it.

Anger is a natural emotion, but when it becomes overwhelming or suppressed, it can harm your well-being and relationships. A lot of us experienced shame around anger, this is why a group setting can be extremely healing.

The group sessions are designed to help you understand, manage, and transform your anger into feeling powerful and experience emotional balance.

What to expect

In the Anger Group Release sessions, you will find a structured yet flexible program that addresses the roots and triggers of your anger. It is a guidance towards your relationship with anger in a safe environment.
Here’s what you can expect:

  • Supportive Community:
    Join a group of individuals who understand your experiences. Share your journey and gain strength from collective support.

  • Safe and Confidential Space:
    In this space I  provide a non-judgmental environment where you can openly express your feelings and experiences. There is no “right” or “wrong”.

  • Guided Techniques:
    The group experience incorporates various techniques such as breathwork, guided imagery, role-playing, and group discussions to help you release and manage anger effectively.

  • Professional Facilitation:
    Led by an experienced therapist, the group sessions ensure that discussions remain productive and that each participant receives the guidance they need.

  • Personal Growth:
    Learn healthy ways to express and process anger. Develop new coping strategies and emotional regulation skills that you can apply in your daily life.

What not to expect

While the Anger Release Group Sessions offer valuable support and strategies for managing and transforming anger, it is important to set realistic expectations.
Here’s what these sessions cannot provide:

  • Immediate Resolution of Anger Issues:
    Anger that has built up over years cannot be resolved in just one session. Progress is a gradual process that requires ongoing commitment and practice.

  • Personalised One-on-One Attention:
    Group sessions focus on collective healing and support. While each participant's voice is valued, the sessions do not provide the level of personalised attention found in individual therapy.

  • Professional Medical or Psychological Treatment:
    The group sessions are therapeutic and supportive, but are not a substitute for professional medical or psychological treatment. If you have severe anger issues or related mental health concerns, it is crucial to seek help from a licensed mental health professional.

  • Complete Elimination of Anger:
    Anger is a natural and sometimes necessary emotion. The goal of these sessions is not to eliminate anger but to help you understand and manage it in a healthy way.

  • Immediate or Guaranteed Results:
    While many participants experience significant improvements, results can vary from person to person. The effectiveness of the sessions depends on your active participation and willingness to apply the strategies learned.

  • Total Privacy:
    While it is important to me to maintain a confidential and respectful environment, group sessions inherently involve sharing experiences with others. These sharings are extremely helpful for yourself and others, however sharing is not mandatory and your boundaries will of course be respected.
    If you have concerns about privacy, you may want to consider individual therapy sessions.

  • Permanent Solutions in a Single Session:
    Emotional healing and learning new coping mechanisms take time. A single session is just a step in your ongoing journey towards better anger management. Yet the embodiment of your experience needs time and effort. 

By understanding these limitations, you can approach our Anger Release Group Sessions with realistic expectations and an open mind, ready to benefit from the shared support and guidance they offer.

Focus on Boundaries

Women are often conditioned to be accommodating, nurturing, and self-sacrificing, which can make it difficult to assert our own needs or express anger in a healthy way.
When boundaries are unclear, resentment and frustration build up, and when anger is suppressed, it can manifest as stress, anxiety, and even physical medical conditions.

This workshop aims to break that cycle by providing psycho-education around boundaries and anger: why they are challenging for women and how reclaiming them can transform your life.
